I'm afraid your well past your cooling off 7 day period for returning the handset.
What issues are you having as we may be able to help ?
Your current avenues as I see it are :
Get the phone looked at by an Apple Genius Bar http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/
If they cannot remedy a hardware or software problem then you will very probably walk away with a mint refurbished handset.
If you don't have a local Apple Store then 02 can send it off on your behalf to Apple.
Sell the iphone 4s to create funds to purchase another phone better suited to your needs.
High-Street shops such as C.E.X buy and sell phones.
