Selling my Apple Watch

Hi I bought an Apple Watch a few months ago on a pay monthly contract but i don’t really use it anymore and was going to sell it on, do I need to contact o2 to cancel my plan first before selling it and just pay off the remaining balance or can I just go ahead and delete everything off of it and sell it as it is?

As long as you have fully factory reset the watch and unpaired it from your handset then you are able to sell it and pay the device off at a later date.

I want to sell mine I've had it two years and have a year left but its just sitting there , I've unpaired it but I've been told as till in contract I can't sell it as no one will be able to use the esim in it
