The page seems incorrect.

What phone do you have?

Is 4G working for you?

I'm assuming its an iPhone 4 - the checker just seems to be getting the devices wrong, causing people to query it.

Unless I'm mistaken it has no 4G hardware either, so will never work on 4G.

Correct, if the OP has an iPhone 4 there is no way 4G will work.

It is likely they have an iPhone 4 and just out of curiosity tried the 4G checker, but were alarmed to see refurb slight_smile

It isn't - the checker on that website is incorrect.
