Hi @Anonymous Then she will have to apply for a new contract in her name. Info on how to keep her number here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number
Three ways of starting a new contract. Over the phone, online or instore....As she wants to keep the number of a phone you have been paying for you are probably better off going instore with her or calling https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
If the contract is going to be in her name she will have to undergo credit checks etc..

Okay then, @Anonymous, if you are still paying for the sim only contract, and she wants to keep the number and take it over, you will have to either contact Customer Service https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus, or go into an O2 store. You will both have to be either on the phone or in the store together, and she will still have to pass a credit check if she wants the account in her name. There's no getting around the credit check. I would also suggest that you wait until after Christmas to do this, as both the stores and trying to get through by phone will be extra busy at this time.

The contract has finished and she wants to upgrade. I went sim only for her about 6 month ago.
If it's a monthly simo she can change it to her own contract immediately, but if it's a 12 month tariff you will still have to wait until it's finished or pay the cancellation fees.
