how to get rid of Samsung Security Policy Update

I've found a way to get rid of the policy update notification...

if you go to settings, more options, application manager then "running"... find the option that says software update. Click it, press stop. Then if the notification is still there, click it press "cancel" and it goes slight_smile

Until you next restart the phone at which point it will come back again.

@MI5, have you found any other ways to combat the problem after a restart?

Not unless the phone is rooted Toby.... It's pushed as a system app so will be started by default at every boot.....

Ah I see. Thanks for the info.

I've raised this with the team so I'll report back with anything.

If anything changes for you though, let me know.

I have read elsewhere that it is caused by whatsapp. I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled and so far no reappearance.

Honestly, Knox has nothing to do with whatsapp!
