O2's landline is From a landline 0844 809 0222 > 5p / min
Have you tried resetting your phone too.
Try if possible.
Your original sim card in an alternative phone.
Another O2 sim card in your primary phone.
A further option is to visit an O2 shop to pick up a blank SIM card where they will perform a swapmysim procedure, just in case your original sim is faulty.
Or you can order one via Customer Services or Live Chat http://www.o2.co.uk/mobile/contactus , and then follow this link http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/ ,or text SWAP to 20220 ,when you receive the blank sim to perform the swap yourself. It takes from a few minutes to 24 hours for the service to fully return.

Hi Ken,
Try removing your sim and cleaning it.
If no help check your service status to see if your masts are ok.
If they are showing fine then ring Uk O2 Customer Services on 202 contract or 4445 payg to ensure your account is ok.
Occasionally a soft reset or as a last resort a hard reset can help.
Ref Hard Reset : Ensure you perform a back up first as this typically deletes saved data.
Link on how to perform both : http://www.hard-reset.com/samsung-galaxy-fame-s6810-hard-reset.html
