You need an eSIM pack by either contacting O2 or going in store (take photos ID)

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/esim

Usually people move from a normal SIM to eSIM, but are you saying you have no SIM at all

You can use your old sim if you still have it.

There's no need for a new sim of any sort if you upgraded.

It wont accept my sim though? It's just a standard micro sim. Fits fine. But I get a flag come up stating it's not compatible 😕

There's nothing special required for your phone.

Can you post a screenshot of the error?

So, it randomly accepted the sim for the last two days and this morning did this again:

I can only assume there is a fault with the device. I've done the obvious of turning off and back on again but its still not accepting the sim. Which has had nothing change since yesterday.

There is possibly a shipping bar on the phone.

@O2Ellie can you take a look please?

@katalyst could be that your phone is locked to another provider? (where did you acquire the phone from)?

Nope, was bought direct from O2. And the sim worked for a few days recently before deciding not to again. I'm pretty sure this is a fault at this point. I'm beginning to get pretty frustrated with it as I've been trying to get hold of someone at O2 for weeks now. The automated system is useless and hasn't got me anywhere. I'm paying a lot of money right now for something that is basically useless. I NEED my phone to work as it's my workhorse. I'm currently losing business to this issue so I'm not very impressed.
