If it's a recent purchase it will be unlocked. Try another network sim in it to make sure ..
From June 2018 all O2 contract phones were sold unlocked.
PS...Just seen you have posted in the PAYG section. If you are on a pay and go phone you may need to get it unlocked. Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card
