Volt benefits when account holders for O2 and Virgin are different

Hi,

In my house I am the O2 account holder and my father is the virgin media account holder but when following the FAQs for setting up volt I feel stuck in a loop as when I go from my side it says join virgin media but he already has.

Is there a guide anywhere on how to do this easily as it is very confusing and we want to get the benefit of it.
