Hi
I am Travelling to NYC next year and have the Volt Travel Inclusive Zone bolt on on my o2 pay monthly account.
I believe this gives me free mobile data when im in NY. However when I phoned o2 to check I was told to switch data roaming off when i'm there to prevent charges. He gave the examples of if I was on a cruise while I was there. I couldnt really understand the guy and wondered if this was right. Surely If i have the bolt on I should be covered without switching data roaming off.
Any help would be appreciated as I find o2 customer service to be less than helpful and dont really want to have to phone them back

You are covered in the USA
No need to switch roaming off unless on a cruiseship, ferry or plane which use their own satellite and are expensive to connect to
You need to make sure O2 enable 4G calling on your account
