Hi all
Short version is I have a SIM arriving sometime next week I don't want, but was forced to accept as part of a Voly package with Virgin Media as was looking to leave them (due to the costs).
Whilst I have been told I can cancel within the first 14 days and just keep the broadband do I need to actually wait on the SIM arriving prior to cancelling or can I do it just from the details emailed through and a different phone? I am a bit annoyed 02 have already set up a Direct Debit and claimed the first payment despite only sorting the VM thing yesterday, and after spotting this site wanted to check is the above was possible so I can do it tomorrow but didn't want to risk being on hold and it not being possible.
thanks for any help.

Looks like you should contact customer service as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

Thanks, I don't have any SM channels anymore so called instead. Taken about 15 minutes but all cancelled off nice and easily, no hassling, no hard selling.
cheers for the help.
