First thing is to make sure your Spend Cap is not set to zero MMS cost 65p per message. That's a lot of money for an ancient technology when we have messaging apps or RCS

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Heston MMS is outdated and expensive: Text and picture messages | Account and Billing | Help & Support | O2

Accidental MMS Sending and How to Avoid it. - O2 Community

If you want to avoid charges for sending picture messages, download WhatsApp. You can send pictures over a WiFi connection free to others who also have the app. You can also use Facebook Messenger.

In addition to the suggestion by @Bambino of using WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger over WiFi, you could also consider Microsoft Teams, Zoom or even plain old e-mail. 👍

I would never recommend anyone uses the pile of garbage that is Teams, Zoom is just as bad.. And for security and to keep your data away from Meta, have a look at Signal or Telegram (just need to make sure others are on it as well)..
