Hi,

I need to close my UK O2 account and I asked for a stac number but realised that I won't use it as I'm not moving to a new network in the UK. I already have my new Belgian phone number (maybe I should have given them my stac number but I didn't).

Am I right that my O2 account will not be closing without using my stack number? I wanted to call O2  but from Belgium, I can't call them! And the bot drives me nuts and is really unhelpful. How can I close my account, please!!!

Many thanks...

It's free to call if you still have your O2 sim or use Skype to call.

Thank you for this. I will try the Skype option as my UK sim card doesn't seem to work anymore either...

Just to say thank you again, I managed to close my account! I called them using one of your links but not with Skype ( I used my Belgian phone/ sim card).

There was a free phone number for people abroad  which I will put here should anyone be in the same kind of situation:

For pay monthly customer: +44 344 809 0202

For pay as you go customer: +44 7860 980 202 (international rates)
