Has anyone encountered the issue of their phone connecting and disconnecting every 5 minutes when charging it with a super-fast charging cable?

I only seem to have the issue with a type C - type C fast charging cable and have tried multiple different cables (all new) and bought a new plug same issue occurs.

Lastly, I tried blowing out the charging port with my computer's air duster, that thing is strong enough to move an empty glass on my desk, so it definitely would have blown any dust off the contacts and terminal. Someone suggested Iso alcohol, but I'm pretty sure that will ruin the port.

Any other suggestions?

@Blackjax First thing you should do is contact Samsung support: Product Help & Support | Samsung UK

If the charging cables and plug you've used are not Samsung approved you may have damaged the phone and possibly voided the warranty.

Not sure why this has popped back into my Unread list this evening, but as it's here, some further tips for you - looks like you may have tried some, already @Blackjax - and do take the advice offered by @Bambino above:

Here are a few things to try:
Check your charging cable and adapter:
Make sure your cable is not frayed or damaged, and try using a different, known-good Samsung charging cable and adapter.
Clean the charging port:
Use a soft-bristled brush or compressed air to gently clean any debris or dust from the phone's charging port.
Restart your phone:
Sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary glitches that might be causing charging issues.
Check for software updates:
Ensure your phone is running the latest software version as updates can often include bug fixes related to charging.
Toggle fast charging settings:
Go into your phone's settings and check if the fast charging option is enabled, try toggling it off and then back on again.
Check for overheating:
If your phone is overheating, it might automatically throttle charging to prevent damage.
Contact Samsung support:
If none of the above solutions work, consider contacting Samsung customer support to explore further troubleshooting steps or potential hardware issues.

Good luck!

Do you have the same issues @Blackjax if you don't use a fast charging cable ?

And what if you try to charge the 'phone wirelessly ?
