I received my new sim on Sunday and when I did the order gave o2 my pac code.
we are now at Thursday and neither of the numbers work
I can call out on the old number (ported over) but when you call the number it goes to an automated service
i have an iPhone 10s - I’ve tried everything o2 has asked me to do and still nothing.
the o2 chat service is horrendous and after an hour on the phone to them we ar e no closer SO I thought someone here might have an inkling as to what has happened

When you say neither number works, do you mean that both sims have no signal @Pob75 ?
Unfortunately o2's system struggles with PAC codes given at time of ordering.
Try submitting it again (form in link below).

We think it’s a problem with the SIM card, we have already done wha t you’ve suggested unfortunately.
when network settings are deleted or reset it reverts back to the o2 temporary number
