Doro 7030 setup – Wi-Fi calling

I am setting up an unlocked Doro 7030 which was not supplied by O2. My SIM is a Big Bundle PAYG 30-day (unlimited calls and texts, no data) which I have used for about three years in an O2-supplied Nokia feature phone. It would be useful to add Wi-Fi calling to my Doro as an extra resource, but the enable button in the settings menu refuses to move! I followed O2's online help which led me to 'Device details' in my account, but there I found only a procedure for unlocking a SIM with a PUK code. Have I run into a limitation on my tariff, or does the problem lie with Doro?

Not possible on O2 PAYG, @An_Older_User -

Can I use WiFi and 4G Calling on Pay As You Go?

WiFi and 4G Calling isn’t available on Pay As You Go at the moment. It’s available to Pay Monthly Consumer and Business customers with compatible devices and services.

WiFi Calling is not available to PAYG customers at present so that's the reason it can't be set

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Thanks to you both for your replies. Watch eBay for a nearly new Doro 7030 up for auction?

If O2 signal is good for you then maybe try giffgaff. They do WiFi Calling and Voice over 4G unlike O2
