Hi,
While on holiday recently I lost my iPhone and reported it lost/stolen to O2 who placed a block on my account. I managed to retrieve my phone the next day (it had been accidentally picked up by a friend) and immediately rang O2 again to let them know. I was told that the block had been removed and my phone would be back up an running within 24 hours.
That was Two and a half weeks ago!
I have lost count of the amount of times I have rang O2 to resolve the issue.
I have done everything asked of me in an attempt retrieve my network service:
Installed a new sim, turned the phone off and on again, carried out endless network resets, taken the phone to my nearest Apple Store who found the phone had no issues.
My new sim works in both my wife’s and son’s Samsung phones.
My wife is on the Three network, my phone works using her sim.
My son like myself is on O2 when installing his sim into my phone the problem persists.
At my wits end and out of patience with O2.
Complaint lodged with O2 though not optimistic I’ll even get a reply.
still paying for a service I can’t access.

You may need to ask O2 to remove all Bars from your phone as you reported it stolen @GRUNDERS - the IMEI Bar comes to mind, more info on the Bars that are applies in the table here: Guide: O2 BARs - I'll ask the O2 Advisor on this evening, @O2Emma, to help, if she can - keep an eye on messages here for a reply looking for more info. Good luck!
