My wife and I have o2 phones with Volt and will want to call each other whilst in the US. Using the UK numbers as they are does not work so do we need to put a code in front of them

You need to put +44 in front and drop the leading 0. eg 07777 becomes +447777

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Stevros

Have you tried just dialling the number normally as if in the UK?

Also try 0044 rather than +44

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Just a thought. Have you got VoLTE (4G Calling) enabled. You can't make calls in the USA without it
