Hi

I bought a pay monthly sim over the weekend. Sim arrived Tuesday but do I have to wait until my current network stops working before I put the new SIM card in. On my o2 account it’s still not showing my old number, just the new o2 number. Should this be done by now ?

In that case it wont be going through,  as I advised contact o2, and give them your PAC code. You can also call on 202 from the o2 phone or 0344 809 0202

My advice is to put the o2 sim in your phone to ensure it is active and it also lets the network know that it is live.

Did you get a date for the port into o2 to happen?

It might be worth contacting Customer Services, If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to check if they have a port date..
