Cant make a call while in USA

used phone to call uk on thursday but then went to use phone on friday and all calls to usa or uk failed. can send a text or whatsap but calls fail

4g calling is required in US so check it's still enabled in phone settings.

From 2023, you’ll be unable to use your UK mobile phone to make regular calls when visiting the USA because of changes to their mobile networks. However, you’ll be able to use your phone to make calls using the 4G network – provided you have a compatible phone.

Use Whatsapp or Messenger over Wifi as long as the people you are contacting have the same app.

OR buy a local sim from T mobile or AT&T.
