Calls to an Automated system

Hi

I've recently upgraded my phone from a iPhone 13 pro to a iPhone 16pro

when i make calls to an automated number ie press 1 for a section then press 4 for another section it either connects but they cant hear me which results in them putting the phone down or it rings 2 or 3 times and then goes dead

ive contacted 02 but the usual turn off an on and ive gone into the shop and they made it an actual sim card rather than an eSim but none of that has worked

some of my other calls to mobiles and land line numbers also drop off but not all the time

does anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve this without having to send my phone off which i need for work

just to add I work in the legal sector and part of my job is to contact courts on a daily basis, it works on the direct lines but not the automated switchboard

Many thanks

@Douglas552

It could be an issue with the IVR platform, as I had this over Christmas with both o2 and Spusu on the 111 service using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and a Z Fold 6 but not had it anywhere else , but then the day after it worked fine, and not had any problems with any others.

So don’t think it’s the phone or SIM card, but with the provider of the IVR platform, and I would suggest raising it with the company you are contacting and get them to log it as a fault.
