I've been having trouble for over a week receiving calls from 1 specific Vodafone number to my O2.
On the Vodafone handset, there is no dial tone when phoning my O2 phone. I see the incoming call on my O2 phone, but when i try to answer, the call ends.
My other half has spoken to Vodafone and they've checked their details and can't find any issues.
I can receive calls from other people, but the vodafone number specifically won't connect.
I can phone from my O2 phone to their vodafone, and the call connects fine, it's only incoming calls to my phone.
My O2 number was a virgin media contract, ported from Three previously.
One anomaly i noticed when checking my settings is that the sim details are showing a different number to my own, not sure why this is.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this please?

This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

Hi Jose
I am have the same problem calling from O2 to my son on Vodaphone, he can call me but when I call him my phone goes to 'call ended' straight away. My son is very technical and we have spent an hour in the same room going through all settings, even taking the sim out. No call barring, airplane or theater mode on. I can call him on my works phone just fine, but also his grandad has the same problem and can't call him. It's only just started about a week ago, no new phones or change in service provider. Really can't understand it.
Would like any help from the community
Thank you to all.
Tom
