Hello I recently bought a MiFi device due to my property not being able to get any broadband. O2 have the best coverage and I am already with them on my phone contract.
I followed the steps for the mobile data and since I already have a MiFi device, I purchased unlimited O2 mobile data on the 12 month contract. Unfortunately, I cant activate the sim as It needs to text the number Ive been assigned - since its in the MiFi device this cant happen. Is there a way around this?
I have now just read that O2 dont support MiFi devices? If this is true, It's very misleading and i'll have to cancel my contract 😞

You need to put the sim in a phone to get the text O2 will send you. Than you put it back into the MiFi device. O2 does support MiFi devices otherwise they wouldn't sell them in the shop.
It's boostboxes they don't support (unless you are a business customer)
