I can see there are many people having similar issues, I spent an hour and 20 on the phone with O2 last week and it seemed I knew more about the watch than the person on the phone.
I’ve followed the set up steps all the way through to agreeing to the additional £5 on my O2 tariff and the mobile data status showed ‘Activating’.
It’s been like that for more than a week now, with no cellular connection.
If anyone can assist it would be appreciated, thanks.

It has been known for it to take up to 2 weeks to activate in some cases.
I'll ask @O2Sarah- to see if she can help you in the morning.
