02 phoned me to give me my new number and mid conversation I was cut off before she had given it to me as I said let me grab a piece of paper first to write it down then suddenly when I said I was ready my phone call was cutt off and I lost my network and access to 4g data. So I was unable to complete the conversation and set a number or call them back. Can someone help me reinstate my phone network until I'm ready to transfer to new in my own time as I was told I had 28 days to change over.

As soon as you had requested a new number then they will have processed it, you dont get to choose a time in the future to move to it.
