joined o2 and submitted pac code but recieved a sim with a different number to my old one !

Hi all .. i recently moved to 02 and during the sign up submitted my pac code given to me by vodaphone, recieved a sim through the post but it has a totally different number which is working, is this correct do i have to wait for my number to be changed or is there a probplem please help x

Once the other network sim loses connection the process has started

Keep rebooting the phone with the new sim

Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.
