Hi,

I have an iPhone 12 and had an esim (O2) and physical sim (Three) in it. I have ported my Three number over to O2 (the esim) but after several reboots the esim isnt active. It should be by now.

Has anyone ported from a physical sim from another supplier to an O2 esim? Work OK?

TIA

John

Hi,

In that case I would contact customer services as it could be a failed port

@johnsmclean

When was the port meant to be going through, as they can take upto 6pm on "porting day"

Has your 3 sim card become disconnected?
I've not heard of any issues porting from Physical to Esim.

I would contact Customer Services on 0344 809 0202 and see if they can see any problems

Hi,

thanks for quick reply.

I was told it would be ported by 6pm yesterday. The Three line is now dead (cant log into Three account either). And the Three number now shows up on the my O2 account when I log in.

I had the exact same problem yesterday and o2 CS being unobtainable in the current post-covid era even on "chat" I resorted to deleting the esim from the phone, and reinstallation using the original qr code on the card I had fortunately retained.

Worth a try if youre in this situation. The qr can only be applied to the original phone, up to three times use.
