data roaming abroad

I have just got to Peru and data roaming icon '3G' will appear on my iphone 5S but roaming wont connect. Any clues?

Hi.

Try re booting your iPhone.

Hold the Top Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both. Your iPhone will reset.

And or ;

Settings , General , Reset , Reset Network Settings.

Is roaming turned on in your O2 account.

Possibly the local network itself is having issues.

Remove your sim and give it a wipe with a soft dry cloth.

You could contact O2 to check your account.

on payg no roaming in peru calls text or data

on pay monthly roaming but data is when it works £6 a mb Subject to £40 cap 50mb usage so if you only use 6.6mb it will cost £40 but any usage over that to 50mb cap is free use 50mb and it is equivilent to 80p a mb
