What data tariff are you on?
You need to be on iData for it to work so I would call 202 and ask customer services to check it is iData for iPhone.
You also need to enable it under device details in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 then wait a few hours (overnight) and reboot the phone.

Just to check also that you are on a monthly contract or sim only contract as it's not available on PAYG ?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You know what @MI5 its a shame that the o2 have made this so difficult regarding the different data types.

i don’t know any other mobile network that this affects.

and the question is asked many times too.

you would have thought that the system when inserting the sim will automatically change it for the person so they don’t have to mess or keep ringing etc o2 to change it.

Need Help, Just ask. We are one big Family here in the o2 Forum.
Use iPhone XS Max dual sim, SE, Honor 10, IPad Pro 11, Apple Watch 4 LTE, 100+ Mpbs Barrier and a Record Player.
