Wifi Extra from O2

Hi, 

 

For a while now i can't connect to Wifi extra from O2 on the underground stations. It's saying - not able to connect.

 

I have the same phone and before i had no issue.

It's not working currently, sorry.

You would be as well reporting it to TFL, and you should be able to connect to the Virgin Media WiFi network, that appears.

It looks like an issue with Virgin Media, as they manage and operate the service on behalf of TFL

Very disappointed on how O2 managed the situation.

Some sort of communication would have been appreciated.

Thank you for your message.

I have spoken with Tfl and they know it's not working and reported it to O2 but they were just ignoring them. No reply whatsoever.

Bring to reach customer service at O2 is like winning the lottery nowadays. When finally got through, I have been told to reset network setting which didn't help.
I tried to speak with staff in their shops but not helpful. There were aware of the situation (that leads me to believe other have complained too) but sent me to customer service.

I tried connecting via Virgin Wifi but it's not efficient. Every time it got disconnected I had to try and connect again and put my O2 number, etc.

Extremely disappointed with O2 and how they managed the situation. No communication was sent out but them having an issue with their Wifi.

I was really considering at that point to change the network provider.

Happily today started working again.

Hopefully there won't be any more problems.
