Been told my upgrade fees may been waived can anyone explain what that means ?

It means you don't have to pay them. 

O2 will cover the cost of upgrade.

This upgrade on us and we will pay the rest of your device is got one a pound dearer do I still the old one paid off or not ? Because I’m not gonna pay it off when I’ve been told they will

When you upgrade you take a new contract and pay the new price going forward.

The free bit is that O2 pay off what you owe on the old contract so you don't have to pay it yourself.

So I think the last time I check I was on 300 or 400 so would they just pay that all off
