I have just spent the last 3 hours of my life attempting in vain to cancel my O2 contract. I have called the customer service number over and over and after finally getting through to a human being and letting them know i wanted to cancel my contract, I was told there was no security question on my account and they would have to verify my identity in another way. I was then put on hold for a few moments and then hung up on. This then happened a further two times and so I have just rang up and angrily explained that since they wont let me cancel my contract I'm simply going to stop paying and they'll have to sort it out. I have never had such absolutely appalling and rage-inducing customer service in my entire life and O2 should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Is there not a simpler way for me to cancel my contract online? I am at my wits end
