Im planning to leave O2 because my sim only plan ends in Feb. However I have a "device plan" with a remaining 30+ months. This device plan is for the Quest 2 - a device that does not require a sim. I was under the impression these were separate contracts but I'm reading things suggesting I'll need to pay it off. I would have assumed as much but can't find any info regarding devices that are not phones or sim tablets. Anyone know? Thank you

If it isn't linked to your sim you should be OK to leave it running.
You can Text INFO to 85075 to see any fees that need to be paid.

We really hope you want to stay with us, but if you choose to switch today, your Early Termination Charge will be £... . If you're on a standard contract, this will include your remaining balance. Your final bill will still include any airtime you've used and any out-of-bundle charges like Charge To Mobile services.
Thank you for this - didn't know this exisisted but can't help but note the "if your on a standard contract". Will have to attempt to contact a O2 rep to clarify I think. I will post the result once I find out. Thank you

A standard contract is one purchased from a third party.
If you bought yours from O2 it will be refresh, so the amount quoted will apply.

Thanks MI5 - you are correct. Ive just been told by O2 Cs that they are separate from each other so I am able to leave to a different network for my sim but keep my device plan going. Thank you!
