Prime 3 months free or £2 airtime reduction

Hi

just got a new sim only and offered the 3 months prime for free “extra” or I could take the prime @ £8.99 with £2 airtime reduction.

on the £2 reduction page is says until 14th dec, is that when it’s available to add as an extra or when the promotion ends and if I keep it I will no longer get the £2 reduction of airtime.

Am I right in thinking they are both classed as an “extra” and as I’m only allowed one “extra”, on my sim only contract, I couldn’t take the 3 months then add the prime at £8.99 with £2 reduction?

I believe you can take the 3 months free from your extras Guide: Adding and removing O2 Extras  

then add the price reduction from Priority once the 3 months trial has ended.

for clarification “extras” are o2 contract bonuses

and the o2 priority bonuses are a separate thing altogether ?
