I have the travel bolt on, but my phone will not work at all - no data, won’t send texts, internet doesn’t work, etc. Any ideas?

Try manually searching for a different network.
If you have an iPhone, change your data apn to mobile.o2.co.uk
Check with O2 if you have any roaming bars on your account.
