I am unable to make or receive calls. I am a shielded person due to the current situation and find it very distressing not to mention inconvenient. What is causing this issue

This is a network issue, keep an eye on https://status.o2.co.uk

It will be with the tech teams to fix and restore service as soon as they can, there are no time scales to a resolution
