Ordered a new Device but not dispatched

Hi,

 

I have seen a few posts about the same sort of thing.

 

Ordered a phone a few days ago in store and got told I should have it by the end of the week. Pixel 9 Pro in stock for delivery.

 

Now it seems like my order is just stuck in a potentially never ending back logged queue and I am recieving the daily text message of:

 

O2: Your recent order has taken us a little longer to process, sorry about that. Your order should be with you in the next few days. Our carrier will text you with updates. Thanks.

 

I have recieved this 3 days in a row. I have now got O2 Support telling me there are Warehouse Issues affecting all orders from 29th November.

 

What a disaster.

Makes sense. I ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max on 3rd December, was due for delivery on 4th December. I have also received the same text as you daily. On the app, my order still says processing. I haven't contacted o2 since I very much doubt they will be very helpful about it. Sadly I think there clearly is a backlog of all orders or something, or a warehouse issue like they said and we will just have to wait. Please let me know if you get yours soon though! hopefully we wont be waiting too long.

Apparent around 1st December there has been an ammonia leak around the warehouse and it has been evacuated. Word on the street is they’re going to start deliveries again tomorrow

Rumour has it they were allowed to resume shipments from the impacted warehouse on 08-Dec. Check giffgaff forum for more info, they have been hammered too, @Heightened17 

Guide: How to find help & contact O2 for an update if you have not received one, or if the courier has not advised you of a delivery due yet.

Been waiting nearly 2 weeks for mine! When I’ve searched this issue online I’ve found loads of these same complaints from back in august and September and again last year a few times, so this is a common thing and has now made me doubt any excuse that they’ve given us! And they just probably can’t handle the warehouse and it’s ongoing heavy deliveries!! I really wish I knew this sooner! 02 are absolutely awful and I won’t stop until I receive necessary compensation or as soon as I get the device I’ll be cancelling and leaving for good because ive had nothing but dramas. My upgrade was very important and I need my phone for work ! I am more than frustrated 😩
