Hello! Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and knows what to do..
I've been trying to place an upgrade order for an iPhone 6+ for the past few days and I simply cannot get past the payment section on the website, all I get is "Your payment has not been successful", I have tried different cards(debit and credit), different computers, different web browser, I've called the bank and card company and there are no problems on their side.. The online chat wasn't very helpful nor was calling o2. I can't place the order at my nearest o2 store until the next pre-orders have been fulfilled so I dont know what else I could try really..
Thanks for any help.

Hi
You could try ringing Cust serv on 202 again as it can depend on who you speak to.
Online Live Chat are non Uk Outsourced callcentres who are typically ok for low level general enquiries.

It doesn't really matter who you speak to if the card(s) declined.

If a card is declined it really is up to your bank to tell you why....
They can see if any attempt is showing on your account that you are trying to complete this transaction.
The only time this happened to me was when there had been fraudulent activity on my card and the bank had placed a block on it...
Point being it was the BANK that advised me why the card was being declined...

I've checked with the bank and with amex, there are no blocks on either...
The person I spoke to at amex even told me there was a pending transaction from o2 which was accepted by them(amex) but not completed by o2, this has now been dropped as it's been 4 days.
Address is 100% correct too.

This is really weird. However if you want the phone it does look as if you may have to go instore to order it?
I can't suggest anything else with the online transaction.....
