O2 Unlimited (and the non existant 100mb web access it claims to provide)

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have O2 unlimted that also includes 100Mb internet yet I can never get access to the internet with this package.  I have to use my Sky wifi.

Is there a reason for this as there is nothing wrong with my phone settings.  Also whilst on the subject of internet access.  Why is there no app for Windows phones for the O2 wifi access?

I have a Nokia Lumia 800

Enter the settings manually yourself as per the instructions here http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/chapter/595-04-how-to-set-apn-settings-for-the-02-mobile-network...
Ensure you save them then make sure MOBILE data is turned on and then reboot the phone.
We really need to be clear that the data is set up correctly on the phone, if so, and still not working it is either a service issue (check your postcode here http://status.o2.co.uk/ ) or an account based issue for which you'll need to call CS to check your account. (call 202 for contract accounts or 4445 for PAYG accounts).

Try texting ACTIVE to 2020, save the settings and re boot your phone.

Look at your service status by inputting your postcode here http://status.o2.co.uk

Yes.

No issues with the settings at all.  It works well with my Sky wifi but the 100mb that comes with o2 unlimited just keeps telling me to check my data connection or try again later.

Wifi is completely different to mobile data, ie wifi will work with mobile data turned off and the wrong mobile apn's.
Forget the fact that wifi works and concentrate on the mobile data aspect.
Mobile data switch needs to be on and the correct apn's installed and selected.

Tried everything and nothing works, even sending ACTIVE to 2020 does not work.  I get 2 messages coming back, first one is "Couldn't change phone settings - Your phone's settings couldn't be changed."  then this is followed by "Your phone should now be set up.  If you have any problems try switching your handset off/on.  If you need to get settings again, text ACTIVE to 2020"

Tried numerous times and dont work.
