New phone without signal

I recently a received an iPhone 5s and a new nano sim from O2 but I have no signal, any idea what I need to do (have tried switching off and on!)

Sounds like youi need to do the sim swap. Once done your old sim will lose signal. At that point reboot your iphone at regular intervals until you get a signal.
