Problem is down to Australian networks which are barring phones that don't have 4G Calling  (VoLTE)

Seems some otherwise compatible handsets have got caught up in this

Nothing O2 can do.

Try manually connecting to Vodafone as that has been reported as working.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

This may be a useful link. You can check if your handset is marked as compatible by the Australian Networks.

Obviously you need to be contract with 4G Calling enabled. If not then at least you will know if your handset will work with an Australian SIM
