I have lost my UK O2 sim card whilst abroad (as I bought a temporary one for overseas). I can’t access My O2 to get a new SIM card as the app requires a verification from my number, which I now don’t have as I lost the SIM. How can I access My O2 to request an eSIM whilst abroad?

Even if you could access MyO2 you cannot order a replacement that way any longer.
You need to report the SIM lost to O2 as per this guide
