Keeping my number

Hi I was given a temp number whilst they port mine (had a virgin media SIM, now O2) they said it would take 48 hours. Still can't use my old number yet even though I put the new SIM in on Thursday and it's now Monday Eve.

Does this seem normal?

Yes, unfortunately porting doesn't occur over the weekend. It should happen tomorrow if you keep rebooting your phone.
