Because I had no credit history I had to pay a £275 deposit on my phone that i was told I would get back when after 3 months payments but I ended up missing the airtime bill for the first month but paid the device plan (this was because my work paid my a couple of days late.) I paid the airtime bill a couple of days later and have paid every other bill on time since then so will I still get my deposit back.

I don't see why not if it was only a couple of days, but it wasn't the best start!
Anyway, you need to call cs on 202 and ask them to add it as a bill credit or pay it back into your bank account.

We have no access to accounts here, as we are all customers too, but at a guess, as you were late with the very first payment, they may want to hold your deposit for a while longer just to be certain you're capable of making the payments every month. As advised, you need to clarify your status with customer service, as they are the only ones who would be able to tell you for sure.

I'm betting that because you missed the first that they will wait to the third consecutive bill before you see any recompense

^^^ That

You need to make 3 consecutive on time payments so you should get it back next month.
