Can I make partial payments on a disconnected contract?

I have two phone contracts, one which is active, and one which I believed had ceased, but apparently not, the contract is now up but I still have a final bill to pay which is rather large. I would like to pay the bill in partial payments, does anyone know if this is an option? I called Pay Monthly support and the agent told me 'she wasn't sure' and I 'could try' which I found a little unclear, just wondering if anyone here can help me out? Thanks

I believe they will split the bill over two payments but you need to arrange it with customer service. Ring them again and hopefully you will get through to someone more knowledgeable.
