Audio breakup - cannot make or receive calls

Anonymous
Not applicable

If I try to make or receive a call I get distorted audio - even when the number I have rung is ringing.

Problem occurs with two diferent phones with the same SIM in.

My wife's phone (on O2) does not suffer the problem.

Reception is 4/5 bars 4G

Occurs in my home location. Have tried two different locations (one 1 mile  away the other 10 miles) an audio is fine.

I have spent over an hour on chat being transfered 7 times and then ignored. Also visited my local O2 shop who said the only thing they could do is issue a new SIM. This did not fix the problem.

Calls only go across 2g or 3g so try a call with the phone locked to 2g and see if it still does it then.

If the problem doesn't occur away from your home location, then it's your home location that's the problem. Does it happen indoors and outdoors?

The problem seems to have cleared itself after 4 days.
