expiry

i got a very old samsung s4 phone which i want to use incase of emergency. I just want a sim card and put some credit on it and then forget about it. I keep seeing 1 month expiry. Does this mean credit will expire and i will have to top again when needed. What i dont want to happen is for the number itself to expire. Could someone clear this up for me.

Many thanks

You need Classic PAYG. O2 don't do that so get a classic tariff from Tesco or Giffgaff

Then you only top up as and when needed.

Hope that helps thumbsup

O2 PAYG is based on you buying a bundle every month to get allowances.

If you don't top up every month, you won't be able to make calls etc.

You also would need to top up at least once every 6 months to keep the number active.

If you want a better low useage option, look at sims from giffgaff, which runs on the O2 network.
