My dad is on classic pay as you go. Will he need to get a new contract due to o2 removing pay as you go

PAYG isn't stopping yet, as far as we know.

The announcement made only refers to PAYG data only sim cards, not phone sim cards.

So can he still use his sim card? Will it remove mobile data from him?

No changes at all to his sim.

Everything will remain as it is now.

Calls, texts, data etc unchanged.
