Not receiving Amazon verification code by SMS text

I am not able to receive any Amazon verification codes by SMS text to my O2 & android phone. I can send/receive texts to this not number form my other phones - but not Amazon - strange

 We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from the forum.

You need  to contact O2.

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help. Or call them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract)

Thank you - very useful guide - especially about accidentally blocking the number. Problem solved - I had blocked the Amazon number - whoops - now it is working fine

As it's only Amazon giving you the issue, I would suggest you delete the Amazon app, reboot the phone and reinstall the app. You may be running an old version. Also I find rebooting the phone, cures a multitude of 'sins'.
