Due to not using my phone for over three months the number is no longer working. How can I get it reactivated?

If you need to call from a none O2 phone

0344 809 0222 will get PAYG customer service.

Be prepared for a hard sell where they tell you the only way to get the number back is to go contract.... Not True

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

ou need to contact customer service
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this
or give them a call on 4445

And if you do get your number reactivated, @PaulE - make a note somewhere to use it at least once every 3 months to make a chargeable call, otherwise the number will be flagged for deactivation again at some point. Good luck!

Hiya

Spoke to somebody at O2 who explained just like you that I had to use it at least every 3 months. All reconnected this morning. Thank you very much for your advice. WILL DO what you say!!!! Thanks

Hiya

No hard sell. Just had to be prepared to wait 24-36 hours to get my number back on. However it was on this morning. Thanks for the info. Paul

Glad it is sorted.

It's just some agents that try upgrading customers
